I Walk In The Quiet Places Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Walk In The Quiet Places

I WALK IN THE QUIET PLACES

I walk in the quiet places
Where I can hear myself think-
I love the beauty of the silence
And the pleasure of just seeing things-

To be able to walk
To be able to look and see
Is such a big thing -
I know so many no longer capable of this-

I walk and think and pray for them also.
