I want to find the very first grains of sand
That nucleates formation of the pearl
And with them build us a house on the land
I want to do right for my favorite girl.

I want to go back to the first raindropp
To snatch it just before it touches the ground
So as to add it to my many teardrops
For in you all my tears are heaven-bound.

I want to go back to the Garden of Eden
Back to the moment of the very first kiss
When the journey to passion was maiden
And with you share this perpetual bliss.

I want to journey to the time of creation
To the seconds before God made time
So as to ask for the day’s elongation
For fond of every second with you, I’m.

I want to go with you to the ice ages
To walk with you to all the corners of earth
And record each moment on my heart's pages; for
Love, of all my fortunes, none outshines your worth.

I want to go back to the first poem
To the time when God breathed life into man
Filling love into his jeroboam,
For you I want to perfect his first plan.

I want to kiss you ten times on the moon
When it is full and eclipses the sun
So cupid could have better aim with his harpoon;
More love for you, I wish my heart would churn.

I want to bathe with you in a ravine
for it is the source of river and sea
I want to make you my wedded queen
and I want my all to be YOU and me.
