I Want You For Christmas Poem by Rebecca Ryan

I Want You For Christmas

vs.1 It's been awhile since I've seen your face.
And getting rid of you now would be a disgrace.
It doesn't matter what I say or do.
The only thing on my mind is you.
(chorus)
My Christmas present ain't under that tree.
Can't go to Wal-Mart and buy it for me.
I need someone to hold me close when it's cold.
This loneliness is getting old.
I don't exactly know what to do.
All I know is that I want you, I want you for Christmas!
vs.2 No matter what you do or say.
I can't seem to get you to go away.
I really need to be in your arms.
'Cause with you, baby, there's so much comfort and warmth.
(chorus)
(instrumental)
Bridge: I've been missin' you so much.
I can't go without one touch.
I just need you here with me.
'Cause you make me so happy.
(chorus) x2
Yeah, I want you-,
I want you, - fo-rr Christmas!
I want you for Christmas, shugah!
