Royston Allen

I will always love you

I loved you, much more than you will ever know
I loved you, and agreed to the cross to go
I loved you, even before you knew my name
I loved you, and upon the cross bore your shame
I loved you, even when you were full of sin
I loved you, and gave my life your soul to win
I loved you, when 'Father forgive them, " I cried.
I loved you, so much, that I willingly died

.... and I will always love you

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Edward Housman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.
