Sing for me Silva - sing
A sweet song that will make me dance
That will trigger the inner passions of my soul
And let it flow like a running stream
Songs of love sing
That will awaken these weakened limbs

Sing for me Silva – sing
And I will dance to your tone
The lullaby created by your voice
A voice sensuous and cool
Do sing a song of love with it
And let me move like a callow lamb
Or a kid that is learning to jump

Sing oh Silva! Sing
Sing and I will dance
Be thou fresh and young
Do not think of me – as old and weak
Just sing and I will dance
For I once danced as a youth
At your voice I will dance again.
