I will fly away

Oh for the day that I join you in the sky
Oh for the day that my spirit's raised on high
Oh for the day that I walk this earth no more
Oh for the day that my spirit's set to soar

So I sing hallelujah and lift your name on high
So I sing hallelujah and lift my eyes up to the sky
I can see your coming glory Lord, of this I have no doubt
And I am gonna dance, I am gonna sing and I am gonna shout

Shout glory to the risen King, glory to your name
Ever since the day I met you I've never been the same
You took me from the miry clay and set me on the Rock
Now I will praise your name forever and I will never stop

For you are life itself to me, I live because you live
You taught me how to truly love, you taught me to forgive
And when you come again oh Lord, on that glorious day
Then with the wings of a dove, I will fly away

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Scott

The moon's on the lake, and the mist's on the brae,
And the Clan has a name that is nameless by day;
Then gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
Gather, gather, gather Grigalach!
