I woke with a Dream of Peace this morning
a persistent dream kept resurfacing.
I woke with a Dream of Peace this morning
as an autumn sun tried to shine bright
in a cloudless pale blue sky tried to give a little
early morning warmth comfort to the world.
I woke with a Dream of Peace this morning
millions of people in dozens of cities sitting
on edges or standing in crowds silent at night
burning small pure white candles praying
for peace in Ukraine an end to war in Ukraine.
I woke with a Dream of Peace this morning
but the millions upon millions remained indifferent
burned no pure white candles prayed not for peace
left their souls shades of grey to dark indifference.

A beautiful and thoughtful poem full of empathy with great images and wonderful poetic expressions.
This is the poem I kept slowly waking with this morning, it insisted on resurfacing and being written, although all the clothes were hung on the line first, thus an entry by an autumn sun.

I join you in your dream of Peace for the World specially Ukraine. A well expressed and crafted write.
p2 too many invested powers have conflicting agendas, future resources are being pledged on the bargaining table. Ukraine has already rewritten trade alliances and the global supply chain.
p1 Peace is a dream everyone should have. Peace is blessed prosperity compared to war, especially for the poor as wars increase supply prices. It is doubtful the Ukraine conflict will end soon,
