I Would Be All Right Poem by Ray Hansell

I Would Be All Right

I lay in bed
Alone at night
Something is wrong
I don’t feel right

I close my eyes
But I don’t see you
It’s always someone else
Whose face comes shining through

Every night I see her face
As I lay staring at the ceiling
When I think of her
I always get this warm feeling

As I lay in bed
All alone at night
If you were here
I would be all right
