I Wouldn’t Like To Write Poem by Khadim Hussain

I wouldn’t like to write,
Soap Operas,
Don’t care if they are set in,
A hotel, hospital, police station inner city,
Country village, on a farm or Spanish resort.

I wouldn’t like to write,
Soap Operas,
Don’t care which country they are from,
England, Scotland, Australia,
India, Pakistan or America.

I wouldn’t like to write
Soap Operas in any language,
English, English with Cockney accent,
With Australian accent or American,
Urdu, Hindi, or Punjabi.

I wouldn’t like to write
Big Brother or any reality programmes,
Set on a tropical Island,
On a rubbish dump
Or featuring celebrities.
