Ice Cold Princess Poem by Joshua Mccoy

Ice Cold Princess

Rating: 5.0

Lips chapped with frost beg for another’s warmth on this snow drenched day.

My body aches and throbs in intense pain from the bitter cold like a massive choir singing in harmony.

My body can no longer move.

My heart can no longer stay on beat.

My soul is a frozen statue.

The blood in my veins is slowly crystallizing into liquid ice

As my movements

Decay into numb shaking and twitching.

All I desire is a dropp of warmth.

The touch of another to cure this frozen coffin my body has become for my soul.

Let my heart

Melt in love

Not in vain

Please bring an end to this never ending pain.

Before my existence is proven worthless yet again.

This desire for unfulfilled love as a man of pure snow is almost too much to bear.

Sunlight is the only source of warmth available for my body to indulge in,

Not the caring tender touch of another,

Not the kind, loving arms I long to be held by,

Not the body heat of another living being.

These dreams are what I would give my heart and soul to have come true,

But the world stands in between me and my better half.

Self conceded thoughts

Repel me from any type of love

In this modern society.

My legs cave into weary

While my heartbeat grows weak

In the warm embrace of loneliness

My soul will eternally sleep.
