If dreams would cease
And days ahead mere Future,
No visions there to miss
No excitement that would lure
Eagerness for Life decays
Each dawn would then be gray
Hopes and plans end with the days
At night, no need to pray.
Living would be just Existence
A vacancy of aspirations
A drifting through a shallow Absence
Of purpose, reason, and direction.

I would like to appreciate your skimming and scanning skills and picking poets words artistically.

This poem is in fact leading towards disapointments and hopeless attitude but one should be optimistic towards life because hope sustains life.
