If I Could Be Like That

If I could be strong like him-
If I could have faith like her-
If I could be hopful like my best friend should-

If I could be like that-
I'll give anything to be seen like that-
Never mind all wasted dreams that were brought to my attention-

If I could be like them-
With the smile's on their face-
If I could be strong like my sister-
If I could be different like the girl down the street-

If I could be like that-
I'll give anything to be seen like that
With my name, I have only one thing to say

If I could be like that-
Be seen like that
Be beautiful like that
Lovely like that
To be heard like that
That's what it's all about
If I could be like that
I'll give anything, to be seen like that-
