If I Could Ever Be Poem by William Breland

If I Could Ever Be

Rating: 5.0

The future holds alot for us, for this I wish to see, thinking about my life ahead, wondering if I could ever be. A poet who is recognised, for the words inside his heart, to touch the souls of other ones, is how I want to start. For I am disabled, and really can't do much, longing for those special words, in hearts I want to touch. If I could ever be that guy, it would surely make my day, but for now I write down my words, sit back and I pray. I know we all share this thought, and wait to finally see, asking our inner self, If I could ever be.
