If I Could Reach You Poem by Antonio Liao

If I Could Reach You

touch me not, oh! dear for only the eyes
could reach you and feel you
in the middle of the silent night; all have done
nothing and hold you
for the star of the night, touches the shore of
hope and dreaming to be with you in the
shadow of lasting tranquility of peace

the last pen the end of scroll for where
the heart brings the soul recent;
I may never be the same again in your eyes, but i
may always be in your sight holding the
line of your sweet smile,
such mistake be conquered for those lapses I do
for only in your forgiveness I
possess the taste that I never was before

such you give the only you of my soul, then teach me
to be true and die myself to conquer you in
the end of time, I remain...
