If I Don't Have You Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

If I Don't Have You

I don't have any desire to ignite a fire
and i don't have that someone i can admire
because it means nothing
If i don't have you

I don't have fantasies to find love and be happy
and i won't ever due to my long romantic history
Because it meant everything
but, still, i don't have you

No, I'll never have happiness and i'm guessing
I will never feel it quite that way again, yea
when you walked out baby, I experienced life bitterly
and my heart has been injured ever since then

i don't have a care
and I don't have love to share, yeah
because it means nothing
if i don't have you

there is not much to say
i don't go out of my way
because i have nothing
i said, it means nothing
if i don't have you
