If I ever beg divine Providence to live another life
I’d breathe dreams bliss in rife
Hand in hand on paths unknown
On cliffs, in meadows like feathers blown
on wind’s shoulder in skies blue
When the sun rises in crimson hues
With some dear friend in forest lanes
Ambling on stained grassy planes
Heedless to time that must pass
Seldom stopping to smell a tuft
Of wild flowers that stands alone
Among waxy washed grey stones
So there would be the sportive wandering
In vacant moods, of two souls sauntering
Feet wind-light on turf and matted roots
Along the murmuring brook to air’s flute
In rhythms of grace and all finesse
Sublime love banishing life’s awkwardness
Very beautifully worded poem and pious thoughts on peace and serenity in life.
In all simplicity your asking is a reflection of your warmth of heart and it has to be appreciated. In fact human life on the earth is somewhat okay dear Jasmine. If I ever meet the Divine Providence and I asked for choose a life for another person, I am proposing to ask Him/Her to go for a life for Himself/Herself. Ha ha, ha.... We spare those high above us and punish ourselves for none of our errors of serious commission. A good write madam. Thank you for your comments on my poem.
