would you love me just as much
would you let me take you
here in my arms tonight
and let me feel your touch

If I told you I couldn't make it
without you another day
would you hold inside your heart
onto every word I would say
babe and never forget

If I told you my love would be
like none you would ever see
that would last here forever
and for you remain true
would you believe in me
and next to me never part
could I always make you stay

If I told you the loneliness I feel
without you in the night
how time seems to stand still
every moment we are apart
would you shine down on me
the beauty of your light
and forever set my soul free
