If Our Hearts Beat as One
If our hearts beat as one
If our thoughts are as one
If I hear only your voice,
and you only mine
can we always be one
singular
Two individuals
embodied in one?
Always? Forever?
Will we be together forever?
If I can feel you, thousands of miles apart
If I know your thoughts, hearing them in my head
like they are mine
does that mean that I can never lose you?
So there are no boundary
there are no limit
So forever is meaningless
Always is irrelevant
Because you own my heartbeat, and I own yours
