Improper Sonnet #1 Poem by Genevieve Surrender

Improper Sonnet #1

Rating: 3.9

Ancient Text have this not.
This feeling: never been recorded.
it is not love.
it is not infatuation.
It is a desire to give you my whole self,
all of me.
and I ask nothing at all in return.
This is pure romanticism at its most potent.
It is a guilt free drug, most addictive.

i liked it because its a way i'll never be i have'nt got the guts to do anything so rash as to offer the whole of myself to someone i don't love and who really doesn't love me either while expecting nothing in return.

Sorry Callisto, but a sonnet by definition consists of fourteen lines.
