In Deep Poem by Perry Sophocleous

In Deep

And so they continue to journey through the fire,
Unknowingly walking toward the land of ice,
The sand and sea creates a whirlwind of love that spreads throughout the land,
An earthquake disfigures the ocean bed setting hate free once and for all,

Love welcomes hate at the shores of destruction,
Lightning, thunder and electricity blind, deafen and paralyse the air,
Hate and love walk throught the storm hand in hand drifting into the eye of the believer,
Until they fade into the Sun's broken skyline,
A faint sound carried back by a puff of smoke their absence leaves eventually forms words and whispers,

'One day, we will remember why we walked so far and see the sky. Until that day, we shall forever fall and the abyss shall forever be our eternity.'
