In Dreams I'm With You Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

The stars twinkled bright,
On that moonlit night,
And i dreamt of you,
As my eyes closed tight.
We walked to the top of that mountain high,
To the songs of the birds,
That were resting awhile,
Their sounds could be heard,
All over the place,
We loved to sit there with the sun on our face.
It's nice to go back,
Even though it's a dream,
If only I could,
Relive it for real.
Through moonlight and starlight,
I'll see you once more,
For I have my dreams,
I can't ask for more.
