In Memory Of A Magic Moment Poem by vinitha nandagopal

In Memory Of A Magic Moment

Years fly like leaves on a windy day
Colors fade and vision getting blurred
Lives going on like an endless river
A tiny ray of hope, lingering on and on
To feel your presence, see your face
To find your innocent eyes
Sparkling like twinkling stars
Just once again....one more time

To re-live those sleepless nights
To pace up and down expecting you
To drown in the deep blue sea of your eyes
To suffer that deep pang of selfish love
Whenever you look at me....
To feel you pacify, when i'm worried
That beloved face, that caring soul
I deeply miss and it's a terrible miss

When i was moody, your warm and gentle ways
Made me feel light, without a word, without a touch
Tears swell up in my eyes, heart beats faster
When i remember you after all these years
I feel eager to re-live that magic moment
Just looking at you, to watch those eyes
It's not sheer lust, but deeper i know now
To experience that wonderful feeling
To feel that chemistry, to revive that spark
Just once again.....just one more time
