my love for her knows no bounds
she mean more to me than she would know
my piece of heaven upon this wretched world
there is no sacrifice big or small for me
to keep that angelic smile upon her face
reaching out to hold her in my arms
pulling her gently closer to me
closer than the closest two can ever be
so that her warmth can seep into me
halting the transformation occurring within
for she is the missing piece
to the puzzle I call my heart
alas when my arms wrap around her waist
her warmth seems to be misplaced
with nothing other than the coldness
for she hath not the power to reciprocate
the affection for which we used to crave
