In My Dreams Poem by xolisa stuurman

In My Dreams

Rating: 5.0

In my dreams
I peacefully lay on my bed with my beautiful face on white linen,
That smells of bodily fluids that fuse against each other.
Exhaling air through nostrils,
That suffocates my lungs and gasp for more.
Exchanging sweet nothings through tongues with a bit of saliva,
I taste for more.

Sexual aromas inflate the four walls around us,
If they could talk, they’ll be a witness to this act.
For stories gain and hold values through passing of time.
From a word of mouth and across ears.

Last night
You peacefully lay on your bed with your beautiful face on lime linen.
Failing to sleep, I chose to watch you asleep,
Like an angel with your hand served as a pillow on your gentle skin.
I kissed your lips without response…I could not blame you.
For last night we made love until the anchor of your voice blossomed with pleasure.

Maybe with ecstasy, better still with innocent pain.
I kissed your eyes and with a murmur you slightly looked without strength.
Failing to make out the words, I knew you were “Superfine”
It’s strange isn’t that in my dreams
I wish someone could gaze in my eyes that way with,
Admiration of what two bodies can achieve…just with a kiss.
