In My Little Structure It Shows Poem by David Darbyshire

I didn't have enough vision,
I suppose it was just to small.
I thought I could visualize my thought,
but all my efforts led to naught.

I had planned and planned,
it was going to be so grand.
But I just couldn't see past my nose,
and in my little structure it shows.

We bought a cute little pup,
and a little dog house went up.
As time went by, the dog grew much more,
now I am in trouble he can't get through the door.
