IN MY OWN WORDS

THE WORLD SITS STILL WHILE WE TAKE OUR CHANCES
SEEDS ARE SOWED EVERYTHING SEEMS PLANTED
OR ALIGNED IF WE SPEAK THE TRUTH EVERYTHING IS MISUNDERSTOOD
WHAT IS GOOD?
WHO SEEM GREAT?
EVEN IF WE FIND LOVE WE STILL SEEM TO HATE!
HATRED ALL THROUGH LIFE IT SEEMS TO BE THE THEME.
ADDICTED TO ANYTHING SEARCHING LIKE A FIEND
PEOPLE HAVE NO THOUGHTS BECAUSE WE CAN'T IMAGINE
TAKE OUR FOCUS BY PROVIDING DEVICES AND ALL KINDS OF GADGETS
WHEN I SEE THE WORLD I SEE NO HAPPINESS
TWISTED, SICK, AND FILTHY SEEMS TO BE NO MAGIC
EVERYTHING COMES IN PORTIONS
SO MANY ABORTIONS
IF DOING WRONG WAS MATH I WONDER WHAT IS THE PROPORTION
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL WITNESSING A MURDER IS UNPLEASANT
WE ALL ARE KINGS AND QUEENS MARJORITY LIVE LIKE PEASANTS
WE ARE THE SOURCES EARTH IS THE REFERENCE
PEOPLE WANT TO LOVE YOU BUT HURTING YOU IS THEIR PREFRENCE
SO MANY REVEALATIONS WE IGNORE CONFIRMATION
PEOPLE DETER YOU FROM YOUR DREAMS WITH SILLY INFORMATION
IF SOMEONE GIVES THAN WE ARE TAKING
THATS WHY THE WORLD IS SO INFECTED
EVERYTHING IS MESSED UP AND DISCONNECTED
WE NEED PROTECTION LEARN TO SHOW AFFECTION
INNOCENCE IS LOST FROM ADOLESCENCE
GIRLS DON'T LOVE THEMSELF BECAUSE THEY EMULATE BEING DESPERATE

Poem of the Day

poet Helen Hunt Jackson

The month of carnival of all the year,
When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
