In Search Of An Immortal Love! Poem by Aarzoo Mehek

In Search Of An Immortal Love!

Rating: 5.0

Even the kohl lined eyes nor the glossy lips
Could capture the attention of my beloved
I wasted my life alluring my love
With colourful worldly get up n make up
I adorned my hair with jasmine n rose
I wore the most pleasant perfumes to woo my lover
I waited all my life for that one glance in my favour
Little did I realize that this worldly love is insignificant
In the streets of pain, I wandered for my love
I wasted my days enhancing myself
Not for a moment did I sleep a wink
Now at the brink of my life, realization dawned
All my life I was wandering in search of love
Searching for HIM in the faces of mortals
The worldly love which I never achieved
Has pushed me more closer to my God
Finally the long wait receded
And my love has become immortal.

The transformation from worldly love to divine love is depicted with feelings and depth. Good work.

You seem to have shifted from search of a manual lover..... so well disappointed, as men with lovely eyes make you despise....they love those who are cynosure of all eyes....only bare nudity in beauty....‘tis my surmise then in search of an unknown lover...who would bestow all glow upon you....to show you are alone the lover knows....is a class miss-comprehension in my eyes.... we all love natural fragrance... scent galore... not like the makes, of you or many more....who seem to be candle’s flames for sure... hope you will yourself assure...You are just another human one... no less no more.....but your imagery here is better than...so many more...hence most will you adore

You can bring in front of readers' eyes the scenes you describe. and that is poesy. If you want to grow up as a very good poetess do talk only about things human sentiments feel, not the mind or inherited believes, that is not poesy. You have the talent to become a very good potess.

Our eyes are lenses that make image of the beloved on our hearts. At the start a journey is always virtual. As our diverging lens forms a virtual image and cannot be taken on the screen of heart. I think love also matures in stages. Ultimately the lens of our eyes becomes a converging lens that forms a real image that we can take on our hearts. At this stage every thing you love is love of God. At this stage every image is image of God. The climax of love, as it happened with Mansoor is that one starts seeing himself as God and being amazed and excited he says, An al Haq (I am God) . That's a secret which one should keep confined in his heart otherwise he may be punished as Mansorr was as he exposed his beloved's secret. You have nicely described the journey of love starting from virtual beauty and finally arriving at real beauty.

Kabhi kabhi lafz kam pad jaate hai, itni khoobsurat tafseeli aur valuable feedback ke liye tahe dil se shukar guzaar hun. Hum sab ik safar main hai aur manzil to ek hi hai lekin US tak pohonchne ke liye duniya ki lazzaton ko tark karna zaroori hai. Wo junoon, wo ishq aur US tak pohonchne ka raasta to thokarein khaane ke baad hi milta hai. Jab dil ko yaqeen ho jaata hai ke ye duniya to faani hai aur hum sab ik saraab main jii rahe hai, beshumaar khwahisein, duniya ki lazzatein sab faani hai. Allaah hum sab ka ye dunyavi safar asaan farmaai.
