In The Crypt Poem by Justin Gildow

In The Crypt

Rating: 5.0

I awake from my deep and peaceful sleep
Soon I must get ready for the long battle that lies ahead
A sword lies in one corner
A shield lies in another corner
A set of throwing knives lie sitting on a rock

In the crypt
I walk around
Getting some feeling in my legs
While motioning and moving my arms
As well as enjoying the peace and quiet
And just admiring everything that's around here

Small colored fires lie throughout the crypt
A small, wonderful, peaceful moat runs from grate to grate in the crypt

The dawn has come
So I equip myself with the weapons here in the crypt

I walk up the steps
And leave through the door of the crypt
My journey has just begun
My journey has now begun
