In The Dark Corner Poem by Farooq Hussain

In The Dark Corner

Being sat in the dark
I create light in my imagination
I tend to think that are far away
In comprehending and in reality
I might force myself to think deep
In deep where there is no way to left
Pushing myself hard into deep
I would try to create thoughts of creativity
Struggling to keep that pace up
I would be striving all the way
Keeping a belief of achievement
Pondering about nature and its beauty
Pondering about fate
Pondering about life
Pondering and pondering
Cuddling myself sometimes with pillow
Turning another side of the room
I might likely to change my thinking
I would start thinking something else
I would think something horror
I would start pondering about Ghosts
It is like I was thinking about nothing
But it is for sure I was running my brain
Running to get nothing
Jut running and running
And off course I was utilizing my energy,
Time, fame, talent
Which I might be losing
Expecting nothing as reward
To end all wasteful thoughts I might put it an end
I look at the wall
I see there a spider weaving its web
Maybe making a capturing kind of thing
Tangling, messing up web
To get a prey and to eat it
Even if there he couldn’t find any
He kept his struggling on
He would never tire up interlacing web
Like that his efforts were
Just below the web I see a lizard
Staring at something
Maybe cursing himself
For what he has born of
Thumping of windows
Blowing of wind outside
Doing nothing just blowing
Producing noises
As if it is going to eat someone
Barking of dogs trying to end blowing noise off
But kept on failing
Lightning of clouds
Petrifying sparks of lightning
That heart stopping bombardments of clouds
Putting rain behind, left to bear to fall down
Then I shut my eyes off
To sleep but the thoughts of unseen
Kept its collision on
As if there is someone
Want to keep me awake all the night
Experiences like this sometimes forgotten
But not all experiences are forgotten

Not all experiences are forgotten and not all should be remembered. Life is in balance even when we are not. Good write.
