In The Eyes Of My Mind Poem by Luvo Mjayezi

In The Eyes Of My Mind

I see you in my heart wondering the corners of my soul shedding a piece of you in every room.
In the eyes of my mind you are undone, broken into the simplest pieces of your being:
The past, the present and the future, all in one eye's view of the telescope of my spirit.
The visions of the energy the drives and stirs my existence to greater heights.
Each breath a gasp of deep strong strokes of a fresh summer breeze in a long winters night.
It's you who caresses me with words of warmth that comfort my dismayed thoughts of pastures green and grey.
You are mortal and in love you shall live forever as the image of the almighty gifted to me.
With you a day in every moment is forever, in the second of love eternal.
For we have borrowed time for a life lived in love in the memoirs of a deep mindful embrace.
In you I shall take refuge in your warm heart and I shall anchor myself on your soft coy body.
In the eyes of my mind, you are forever, lived in a day, at a moment's pleasure, from the grace of love above and all around.
