In The Eyes Of Tomorrow Poem by James Darwin Smith II

In The Eyes Of Tomorrow

In the eyes of tomorrow
Will you be there for me?
Yesterday is swallowed
Today we plant our seed

A tree of hope shall be built
One stronger than ever before
No more sorrow
As the past gave not much
The future shall give us a lot more

Claim the day as victory
Seize all that can be seized
No limits for you and me

Hold onto all dreams
They are closer than they seem

Progress is here to stay
Innovation will eventually have its day

Let us be in the eyes of tomorrow
Being there for one of others dreams
Yesterday is swallowed
Today we plant our seed

The tree of wisdom keeps growing
As long as we all believe

In the eyes of tomorrow
Let us give vision to you and me

In the eyes of tomorrow
Let us all be finally free

In the eyes of tomorrow
Will you believe in me?

Even beyond tomorrow
Every day shall be seized
Even beyond tomorrow
Our souls shall earn their wings

When the days are all done
Will you still believe in me?
