In The Lake Of Madness Poem by June FeirCruz

In The Lake Of Madness

Rating: 5.0

*As inspired by the kind words of my good friend Daniel Taiach of Argentina* Thank you.

Am I stranded in the river of good times?
Or stuck in the lake of madness?
An error of jugment was made by me
And I am stuck in his lies.

What good is a love affair if it is not salubrious?
If it is saturated with lies and deceit.
Full of suspicions and accusations
Full of anger and hate.

I have to lift myself up from this quagmire of insanity
Love should be just, uplifting, and unconditional
And most of all: Accepting.

nice conceptual metaphors: ''Love should be just Love should be uplifting Love should be unconditional Love should be accepting.'' I agree with you.....10
