In The Lilly Poem by Olawale Owoeye

In The Lilly

Rating: 1.0

In that your backyard beautiful-yellow Lilly,
Looking for gentle rodents
I eyed you beautiful lady
My heart wriggled turn transparent,
For you easily ingress
Twinkle to my memory, the era of school, walking alone in dew,
In silent-shabby Street and in stress.
My mind smile to the mime of the tale of our love, flew
To the greener pasture without any moan
Shall I see you off?
Off to every where and never be alone
My heart have swum deep in river-nile of love,
Gushing from your heart, your beauty dazzels me
Because of love; my heart always giggles
