In The Mostly Sunny Blue Sky Poem by Francis Duggan

In The Mostly Sunny Blue Sky

Rating: 4.0

In the sunny mostly blue sky just a few clouds of gray
It is such a beautiful January day
Not too warm or too cool of around twenty degrees
And the balmy air full of the buzzing of bush flies and bees
Such beautiful weather for the time of year
The flutes of the magpies so pleasant to hear
White butterflies dancing in the gentle breeze
Around the sunlit bushes and trees
Above the brown paddocks in the evening sky
With the sun on their dark wings the welcome swallows fly
In pursuit of flying insects a beautiful sight
As fast as a motor car when in full flight
In the sunny mostly blue sky just a few clouds of gray
So nice to be living on such a nice day.
