In The Nothing Poem by Emma Woods

In The Nothing

I'd be nothing without you
These feelings for you; I'll never deny
I'm only alive when I'm with you
Just one hour we parted - I cried
I'd do anything to be alone with you
I'd give anything for one kiss
What you mean to me - I'll never deny
And when the day is darkened; it's you I miss
As a storm arrives I wish you were holding me
And I wish the rain would fall on us together
The thunder would grumble but I'd smile
And the time I stop holding you is never
We'd kiss in the rain and hold on to eachother
I'd share my feelings with you as we stand
We'd be proud and ignore their shouts and words
And we'd stand together hand in hand
The darkened streets and the flickering lights
The sleeping houses and the moon shines
Still we'd stand alone in my dream
And I can't help thinking how real we could be
