In This Wonderful Life Poem by Linda Barnes

In This Wonderful Life

When we are young
Our travels will be many
Learning from those
Within our circle

Knowledge will be subtle
For time stands still
Beginning with adolescence
Through adulthood

Lessons can be hurtful
Some will agree
Love will prosper
At the end of the day

Searching for answers
Throughout the years
Come easily to most
But are not free

Enjoy your journey
During this time
Once you are older
There are no reruns

Learning to love
Without bitterness in your heart
Are the lessons we've learned
In this wonderful life
