In Time With The Light Poem by Jigmet Angmo

In Time With The Light

Turning into something one cannot decide upon,
whether to hold onto it or go dry of the thorn.
They telling me not to lie, have faith but I sigh,
won't it cost me a little too much when I ain't high.
And yet again, I remember being here once, the same sight.
My eyes could see better then, I was in time with the light.

The shadows take control of me every now and then, I squirm.
But when it is gone, I need to get out of the pseudo charm.
There are times when I cannot tell the right from the wrong,
'cuz the darkness won't let go of me and sing me it's song.
And yet again, I remember being here once, the same sight.
I could fight better then, I was in time with the light.

Now that the never ending battle has drenched me from within,
the spell of the dark remain unbroken and can't be ever seen.
Thought of giving it all up, and I might have if it was easy,
I got to carry it through till it's all done and I fall dizzy.
And yet again, I remember being here once, the same sight.
I used to be living, I wish I was still in time with the light.
