We the people, the U.S.A.
Are blessed with living freedom's worth.
We are determined, come what may,
To better life on planet Earth.
We are not perfect in the quest.
The history of humankind,
We hope to learn from worst for best,
And grow in body, soul and mind.
We journey through a time unknown,
With freedom leading as a guide.
We seek that better lives be grown
For all of us who live and died.

We the people, a nation free,
We were, we are and we will be.
