Incendiary Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Incendiary

Incendiary

The incendiary device
Broke her spirit alas.
The spirit of a young girl
A mist of a family broken.

Her inner devices of protection
Couldn't work, wouldn't work at all.
The heaviness of her insides
Did not carry any litheness.

This girl's predicament
Was of many such examples
Yet in the secrecy of family
No camera or video did reside.

This girl's incendiary
Alas exploded.
The secrecy of family
Never found out.
