Tumbling Down
The high was so high
And the low went way down.
My placid brain
Was crashing all around.
This world was white
Then black indeed.
I fell back
Then I was back in the lead.
My failure at life
Seemed conjecture now.
It wasn't evident
What this was all about.
When time came
Then receded.
When darkness and light
Both conceded.
All was hypothesis
All seemed incomprehensible.
The see saw nature of life
Now this up and down motion seemed comprehensible.
