Are you sure he died tonight
Swallowed up by the storm
Overcome with obsession
Are you sure she died alone
On a beach of pure white sand
Buried eight feet deep
What if they died together
Miles apart yet as one
Are you sure the dog went barking
Maybe the dog was asleep
The wind was howling
Yet the birds were singing
Perched among the rustling leaves
Lightning struck
Yet nothing went ablaze
The sky opened in an eerie but beautiful haze
But the two youths
Were they lovers
Were they friends
Undefined, maybe
But strangers
Negative

Nice poem! It makes me wonder if a connection like that is possible. I hope it is, I hope I will feel something when someone I love departs this world. Then I`ll know that what we had was true. Another good source of inspiration. Thanks! :)))
