Incorruptible, As Beauty Flows.
Some may think,
Writing, reading
Poetry,
'What a Waste
Of Time! '
Well, true
It is not
Profitable.
But!
Some poems
Have
The living touch
Of Love,
And the Devine
Which money
Cannot reach,
Nor buy.
So very true. These thoughts resonate with me. Poetry maybe devoid of material wealth but love, happiness and kindness always spring from it. Treasures that enable a human being to feel the wonders of existence.
