With William Bentick,
Had Lord Macaulay not talked of minutes
Taking out of vernaculars,
Had we about Indian English verse?
Had Ram Mohan not talked about eliminating
The Sati system,
Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar about
The widow remarriage,
Had Gandhi not about eliminating the caste system,
Had we?
