Inescapable

What is this feeling? Is it obsession?
Feeling of aggression, oh so passive
curse of emotion, why? is the question

It's your touch that gives such relaxation
Eyes that stare at me, oh so seductive
What is this feeling? Is it obsession?

Your assurance gives me stimulation
I wink at you, mmm, oh so impressive
curse of emotion, why? is the question

The things you teach me, such education
Is it the fact that you're so creative?
What is this feeling? Is it obsession?

The fact that I'm in this situation
our pool of lust makes me so vindictive
curse of emotion, why? is the question

I demise our hurtful complication
giving myself to you, submissive
What is this feeling? Is it obsession?
curse of emotion, why? is the question

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
