Infidelity Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Infidelity

Infidelity is what it is.
It's a disregard for loyalty.
An unfaithfulness displayed,
With a consent to deceive...
A trust believed.
To do what one pleases,
And leaves.

Goal?
To cheat.
With the eating of a piece of cake,
Frosted to taste...
In a treating of a deception,
Thought of until caught...
As acceptable.
