Innocent Or Otherwise Poem by Dorsey Baker

Innocent Or Otherwise

Rating: 5.0

the man is innocent
until proven otherwise
when truth becomes truth
and lies become lies
the victim is the evidence
the soul of a man
pleads a verdict
every man cast his shadow
where he stands
and his courtroom
being the stance he takes
where there no crime
can be committed
without there being
some knowledge of
no man in reality
can ever be fully hidden
from himself
