Insignia Poem by ENOCH JOHN

Insignia

Rating: 4.0

O then,
send upwards

all your orisons, that
these resplendent islands

much like

yellowed splashes of sun, reminiscent

of a Grecian archipelago
will secure their place

but here sadly,
every island

is its own kingdom,
each ruler its Lord and

ignorance
the coveted insignia,

worn proudly
on their visage.
