Treasure Island

Suki Nakamura

(november 8,1985)

i love it when you check me at 3 o'clock in the morning
when you touch my long black hair
when you caress my soft, white body
i love it when you kiss me and make love to me
when you crush me with your weight
when your tongue sweep my gum
when you wet me with your scum
i need this pill of love, your warm and tender love
i need the smell of your armpits and pubic hair

now, insomniac no more,
i sleep tightly held by the strength of your arms
my hair sprawling on the floor in different directions.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
