Insured Poem by David Darbyshire

Insured

Rating: 5.0

As I back up the car,
looking at myself in the mirror.
I check out my cool scar,
the other car is getting nearer.

Crash, Bang and Boom
the cars a wreck, deep gloom.
I am quite Sad,
the other guy is very Mad.

I didn't see ya Mate?
is that before
or after, you
ran down your front Gate?

After I presume?
the conversation we resume
So you just didn't see me?
No Sir, 'I did plea'

Are you insured?
Yes, I reassured
he say's: 'my lawyer will call you.'
ya ya ya, see ya, adieu.

So I am insured, good
And all will be paid! Perfect
there is one thing I should
do, Call Bill, his car he should collect?

HAR HAR hahaha! The model of a responsible citizen, you, choosing to drive friends' vehicles only if they are insured! Thanks for this laugh, Dave! Esther : ]
