Intensities Poem by Bianca Free

Intensities

Rating: 5.0

The mind has a stronger voice than the heart. The mind tells you you're worthless and you don't have a chance in this world. The heart whispers 'You can make it to the end'. The mind tells you to end your useless existence. The heart silently says, 'You're life is priceless'. They both are talking, both at the same time, but the mind has a stronger voice and the heart barely exists under its heaviness. The heart's wishes will never be fulfilled though it has an iron will. The mind will push you from the roof and hang you from the ceiling and cut you on the blade and push you until you're digging your own grave. The heart will give a little shove but will never push you close enough to stay, or far enough away.

Really like this, a great poem, like the saying, Do you follow your head, or do you follow your heart. A fantastic write.
